Ingredients
- 1 bottle Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade
- 1 to 2 kg pork belly
What you will need
- Tupperware container
- Barbecue
- Tongs
- Basting brush
Cooking Instructions
1. Marinate the pork
Place the pork belly in a large Tupperware container with a lid. Pour Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade over the pork, making sure it is evenly coated. Gently massage the marinade into the meat for even flavour.
2. Refrigerate
Cover the container and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
3. Prepare the barbecue
Preheat your barbecue on high heat. Make sure the grill or hot plate is fully heated before cooking.
4. Grill the pork belly
Place the pork belly on the barbecue and cook until caramelised on both sides. Turn and continue cooking, basting lightly after each turn. Cook until the pork is golden, slightly charred on the edges, and cooked through.
5. Rest and slice
Remove the pork from the barbecue and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice into serving pieces.
6. Serve and enjoy
Serve hot with steamed rice and filipino style dipping sauce for a bold and satisfying Filipino meal.
