Chicken Adobo

Set it and forget it! This slow cooker chicken adobo delivers all the savoury, tangy flavours of the classic dish. The chicken becomes impossibly tender as it simmers in a flavourful soy-vinegar sauce, perfect for pairing with rice

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 1 bottle (350ml) Mini Pinoy Grill - All Purpose Marinade
  • 350ml water (Fill Mini Pinoy Grill Bottle with water)
  • 4 bay leaves

    What you will need

    • Slow cooker
    • Wooden spoon

     

    Cooking Instructions

    Prepare the Slow Cooker: Arrange the chicken pieces in the slow cooker. Pour in the Mini Pinoy Grill All-Purpose Marinade and water.

    Add Aromatics: Add the bay leaves and black pepper to the pot, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

    Cook Low and Slow: Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 6–8 hours, or on high heat for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and falling off the bone.

    Thicken the Sauce (Optional): For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and simmer the sauce on the stovetop until reduced.

    Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with steamed rice, spooning the rich adobo sauce over the top
