Pork Adobo

Pork Adobo

Enjoy the classic flavours of pork adobo with minimal effort. Let your slow cooker do the work as tender pork belly absorbs a tangy, salty, soy marinated goodness and garlic-infused broth, creating a melt-in-your-mouth Filipino favourite.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork belly or pork shoulder, cut into large chunks
  • 1 bottle (350ml) Mini Pinoy Grill - All Purpose Marinade
  • 350ml water (Fill Mini Pinoy Grill Bottle with water)
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon whole black pepper

What you will need

  • Slow cooker
  • Wooden spoon

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Slow Cooker: Place the pork pieces in the slow cooker. Pour in the Mini Pinoy Grill All-Purpose Marinade and water.

2

Add Aromatics: Add the bay leaves and black pepper to the pot, ensuring they are evenly distributed.

3

Cook Low and Slow: Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 6–8 hours, or on high heat for 3–4 hours, until the pork is tender and infused with flavour.

4

Thicken the Sauce (Optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, transfer the liquid to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until it reduces to your desired consistency.

5

Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with steamed rice, spooning the rich adobo sauce over the top.
