Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken thighs or drumsticks
- 1 bottle (350 ml) Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade
- 350 ml water
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon whole black pepper
What you will need
- Slow cooker
- Wooden spoon
- Measuring jug
- Small saucepan, optional
Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the slow cooker
Arrange the chicken pieces in the slow cooker. Pour in the Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade and 350 ml water.
2. Add the aromatics
Add the bay leaves, making sure they are evenly distributed through the chicken, liquid and black pepper.
3. Slow cook until tender
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and falling off the bone.
4. Thicken the sauce, optional
If you prefer a thicker sauce, carefully remove the chicken and transfer the cooking liquid to a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until reduced to your desired consistency.
5. Serve and enjoy
Serve hot with steamed rice and spoon the rich adobo sauce over the top.
