Slow Cooker Pork Adobo (Filipino Braised Pork)

Bring a Filipino classic to your table with this easy Pork Adobo recipe. Slow cooked until tender, this rich and savoury dish combines pork, soy, garlic, bay leaves, and pepper in a tangy braising sauce full of flavour. Using Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade makes it simple to recreate the bold taste of traditional Filipino adobo at home with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork belly or pork shoulder, cut into large chunks
- 1 bottle (350 ml) Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade
- 350 ml water
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon whole black pepper

- Wooden spoon

Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the slow cooker
Place the pork pieces into the slow cooker. Pour in the Mini Pinoy Grill All Purpose Marinade and 350 ml water.
2. Add the aromatics
Add the bay leaves and whole black pepper, making sure they are evenly spread through the pork and liquid.
3. Slow cook until tender
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the pork is tender and full of flavour.
4. Thicken the sauce, optional
If you prefer a thicker sauce, transfer the cooking liquid to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until reduced to your desired consistency.
5. Serve and enjoy
Serve hot with steamed rice and spoon the rich adobo sauce over the top.
